Woody beat me to it, sounds like you might be cavitating with a full trottle, same thing happens to mine if I go full throttle. The RPMS will jump to 4 grand quickly but there is no acceleration, next time your out just try drives all the way down and throttles about 3/4, either way Good Luck!

Swaldrop I'm running the standard 17pitch Vengenance, that all 280s seeem to have. Like you I do have a RPM difference between the two engines, but only about 120, also I had one engine replaced, due to a cracked block so one has a little more kick that the other which may account for it!

With four of us on board, 1/2 tank of gas and water, i usually cruise at 28mph/3400 rpm and about 42mph, if I'm holding toes correctly :grin: at 4600 WOT. At WOT I can just hear the gas sucking sounds so I try not to do that to much!!
