Has anyone had an issue with their tachometer. Mine has stopped working and I can not find a replacement. Any help would be appreciated.

I asked the same question because I find it very easy to over trim. Someone else had mentioned that there motor was lower, the performance was better but they lost 5 mph on the top end.

I try to stay more between 30 and 40. I use marine max as well, my second boat that I purchased from them. I find the staff there helpful and informative. Very pleased with the boat as well.

Thank you for that response. That is exactly where mine is mounted I hit 52mph on the gps wot and scared the family( I am not allowed to do that again). So then I am good. I personally have no problem with the trim but I always have a light load..I have that problem with my bilge pump miss...

Another owner has issues with the prop coming out of the water with very little trim below 4000 rpms. His motor is the same setup as mine set at the same height. My dealer assures me that mine is correct. Anything above an 1/8 on the trim gauge at under 4000 rpms I am experiencing the prop out...

Answered my own question didn't realize the ignition turns to the left also.

I just picked up my spx 190ob the other day, I noticed the key has to be on for the radio to work. THat also means there is power going to the Electic fuel pump, so my question is can you damage this fuel pump if there is constant power present at it and the motor is not running.
