Got sick of not being able to wash my hands in the cockpit sink with out getting water all over the counter. Picked up this 10" swing faucet at webstaurantstore.com. It reaches the center of the sink and does not block the TV, also will swing past the edge of the counter to to fill a bucket or pot.

I used 3M 60 Micron (dry), then a 30 Micron (dry), and finished up with a Maroon Trizac pad (wet) on my 5” random orbital palm sander to get the matte finish. Would use the Blue Trizac next to get semi-gloss , then White Trizac to get real high gloss. I bought the pads and saw great videos...

A friend and I refinished the corian counter tops in the cockpit last weekend. All the scratches gone and a nice uniform color again. Well worth the couple of hours.

I replaced my cockpit refrigerator with a Vetrefrego OCX2. It is an ice maker that has a freezer mode if you need more freezer space. Looks good and it’s ice production keeps up with our margarita machine. We’re happy with it.

Grant, I'm thinking about installing a water witch float switch and one of those fancy lid/doors you came up with for the sump box. Before I drop the coin on one thought I see if you where still happy with the one you install? Right now it takes as long to unbolt and re-bolt the lid that came...

Tempered glass is about 4 time stronger than ordinary glass or annealed glass. And unlike annealed glass which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, tempered glass fractures into small relatively harmless pieces. As a result tempered glass is used where human safety is an issue. It is...

Replaced the salon side windows with tempered glass. Was having problems with the acrylic windows and glue delaminating. Tried 3 types of glue and it continued to happen so had the purple tinted acrylic pulled and light gray tempered installed. Ten year warranty on glue and install. Had visions...

First thing on the list before my wife puts anything on board is cleaning every nook and cranny. And as I’m doing that I’ll do a thorough inspection and make a list of projects. Which of course will never stop being added to.
