Obviously, this is over the last couple of weeks. Looking to get an idea of what to expect. We typically head over to Toronto to have a good time, but looking at various restrictions (25% capacity being the biggest one), I'm wondering if the jaunt is worth it. Already know about the testing...
Went in earlier this year than I ever have, which was nice, but the lake level and conditions were pretty bad all the way through the end of June.
Started the season fishing off of some friends boats. First outing was 4/28. There was still ice on the lake. Fishing was good though. Boated...
Things aren't looking good.

We're braving it out at my place. We have a few cruising plans this year (Cobourg, Toronto Islands), and hopefully we get a stretch of dry.
It's down season for us Northeast folks, hence the non-boating chatter.
I'm going with Stevie Ray - his version of Little Wing
Close seconds are
Ozzy - Crazy Train
Van Halen - Eruption
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
Slayer - Raining Blood (ok, not exactly a true solo)
2007 MB CLS550 got towed in. Cranks, but no start, check engine light, air suspension won't raise the car. Had to put a pair of fuel pumps in to get it started. Then did an auto-scan of all control modules (41 total). 179 total faults!
So, I'm sure a few of you folks browse reddit, and may know about the TIFU (think I "fouled" up) subreddit. Stories of shame and screwups, often using burner accounts to protect the stupid and clueless. I'll go ahead and put my TIFU right out there.
This is the first year with our big boat at...
I don't think the process could have been much easier, and these new units really treat the batteries well. Swapped from the original 3 bank/40A to this ProNautic 50A. Just had to drill 4 new mounting holes, and pull the AC wiring out of the conduit, since it used to be attached at the top of...
Unfortunately, I'm still in storage. Things are seriously rough around my area in the SW corner of the lake. Most fixed docks are underwater, and the floaters are questionable due to stress where they meet the breakwalls.
Here are a couple of last year/this year shots...
Used a bunch of Lumitec stuff for the lighting upgrades.
Also did some underwater transom lights. These are the Lumitec Seablaze X spectrum. http://lumiteclighting.com/product/seablazex-spectrum-underwater-light/?application=marine

So this Summer, I'm looking to come across for a few concerts at Molson Canadian Amphitheater (now called Budweiser?). If I get on the Ontario Place marina website, it looks like a lot of stuff is closed for some renovation. I'm looking for transient docks that are walking distance from the venue.
Yeah, cabin fever is setting in up here already, so I'm going off-topic.
Little background, which should explain some of my car choices. I've worked on Euro cars most of my life and own a Euro/exotic shop in the Buffalo area.
My forever car. 2002 Audi Allroad Quattro 6-spd manual. Bought...
So, here's the backstory for anyone interested:

We closed on it on September 3rd. At that point I still hadn't been behind the wheel. Met with the broker at the boat, signed the last few...
Been around boats for most of my life.
First boat I actually owned was an old Bayliner 26' deckboat with a Force 150 cylinder 2-stroke on it. Bought that in 9/09. Used that on the NY Finger Lakes for a few years. Really was an old clunker, but could move a bunch of people around comfortably...
