I have an ever so slight leak of oil at the bottom of the oil pan on one motor. It appears to be coming from a bolt that holds bracket for the left and right dip sticks to the motor. It is at the bottom of the pan. I have tried to tighten the bolt but it only turned slightly and I was afraid...
Can anyone tell me why a generator impeller would self destruct when started shortly after launching the boat from a travel lift? The genny ran well before the boat was hauled for hull inspection. The impeller had only about 15 hours on it.
My 2001 310 fan is behind the microwave. Removal is relatively easy. Mine stopped a couple seasons ago. I took it apart and cleaned it. Reinstalled and it's been working ever since.
This is a really easy job, but take your time. Follow Southpaw II's instructions. I did this job a couple of years ago and had no problem but a couple of destroyed snaps....simply tossed these and did it again. Get yourself "punch plyers" at a local hardware store. These make it real easy to...
Can I assume you are referring to the TV antenna? If so, it takes a special tool to reconnect. Mine (before I removed it completely and tossed it in a dumpster) had this tool inside of the mount. If you don't see it you can contact the manufacturer. This issue has been discussed here in the...
I'm fine Jon. Chrissie B II did very well at Dillon's. No damage what so ever. The crew there had an extensive storm plan. Looking forward to Spring boating season.
Debris is the major concern, but what about all of the "new" shoals that have been made on the west side of the barrier island in Barnagat Bay, NJ. The usual trip to the common anchorages in the bay will be changed forever AND they will NOT be shown on current the chart plotter cartridges.
Yeah! Who's going to be the first to venture into Tices in the Spring OR "the secret spot" for that matter. Shoals will be everywhere. We have a new Barnagat to navigate. Current chartplotter cards will be worthless. Going to be fun on the water this coming season. At least I have a boat...
I "live" at Dillon's Creek Marina during boating season. I cannot speak more highly of the staff there. The pre-storm prep was outstanding, staff watched for problems during the storm. Outstanding attention to detail resulted in little or no damage. This in an area surrounded by marinas on...
