I usually lift open hatch for a few minutes once I get to the boat ... Then once I fire up I have them running for a few minutes and then turn them off .. unless creep for a little bit too long

Just changed 2 496 gassers (05 360DA ) to Mobil 1 15-50 full synthetic. Pressure is still spot on .. NO consumption. Runs smoother & quieter ( to me ) .... That will be what they have until after I dont own anymore

I JUST changed mine .. With Mobil 1 high capacity filters ... 9.5 qts in each.

Quick question for the 360 crew .. I have an 05 with twin gas 496s. Has anyone tried the oil drain kit ?? I just did my first oil change and sucking it out was a pain not the quickest process in the world. Looks like the drain kit (the way it would attach) wouldnt be much better Thanks ...

Kreole - You are on the money .. I mis-spoke. The 380 has the 7.4s. And neither are at Nunmaker .. Although my current boat is there - and I have known Miskowicz over there for a million years. The 360 has a "seperate" shower - in that it has the Star Trek transporter glass tube in it .. 1st...

Both are gassers .... Both have the 8.1 gas from their respective build years 280ish on the 380 (2000) 360ish on the 360 (2005)
