The reason for wanting more HP is this Boat has always been under powered. And the ECM is bad on the chevy and I can't find an ECM for less than $1500. And I am not willing to spend that kind of money on the chance that will fix the problem.

I will get everything from mounts Alt, Starter and exhaust Manifolds. It is hooked up to a velvet drive right now. So Probably would only need bell houseing and a hub that has the right spline to go to the Alpha 1.

I have a 1998 240 Sundancer with the 5.0 EFI was wondering if there is a Kit to convert back to a Carb? I am a good Mechanic so doing the work is not a problem.

I have a 98 and it has an Alpha1. I run about 3100rpm's at 30 mph.

To prime oil take out distributor long screwdriver on a cordless drill turn oil pump till it wont turn no more.

If you fill the filters you are putting unfiltered oil thru the engine and void any warranty that would be there.

They should be made to reinstall all of them or be shot.
