That is a short run for a switch. Let me know if they take care of it under warranty it would be interesting to know if they stand behind their products.

Hello Oscarlyy and Searay 30
I am fairly new to this boat but have been spending all my available time enjoying it while working through my to do list. Any older boat needs a little TLC and mine was an estate purchase so all the owner knowledge was lost. The boat is a little quirky but...
I am wondering if you will be expanding to take on private piers or dock slips and or swaps for dock space on a short term basis sort of an Airbnb version for slips. Seems like it would be another option that would serve a need.
Good Luck
A scope of 5 to 1 would work out to a 200' rope of 1/2" with several feet of chain. I us a 6'chain because my windlass is for rope only but, if your windlass can handle chain then the more chain the better.
Don't forget having a second anchor with matching amount of rope is always a good idea...
A recent acquisition of the odd little Sedan Bridge from 88-89 the 305. It's a little odd and rare to see so, it's a boat that is a lot like me. Fixing stuff and planning more, buying parts from every shore. Wondering how to pay for it all and basically having a ball. Need to get to know...

this is the factory placement according to the documentation I have for my boat.
Good Luck

You have a good point although I was replacing the failed units that were Rule. I just got the boat so, I have no idea if they are new or old or what. Since just buying the boat I needed a cost effective solution to finding two out of three pumps non functional.
Thanks for the reply.

Purchased the 1100 GPH and 2500 GPH pumps via Amazon along with they'd switches all arrived as promised on Free shipping, worked great and both cost less than a single small unit from my local big box retailer.
I also figured out to install a pump in bilge for easy install ( for a fat kid) and...
Hello clubsearay.com admin,
would it it be possible to set up forums with specific model and year groups?
example
1988-1989 Sedan bridge 30' to 34'
seems like a likely gathering spot for like model owners

Found a loose belt on the fresh water pump and alternator, still have a 15 degree ( gauges maybe) differential between port and starboard. Making progress and getting bruises:smt021
I have an 88 30' Sedan Bridge and the side cabin Windows are stuck tight and leak a little. I am assuming from the conversation that removal of the black rubber in the center of the frame on the outside that goes all the way around will allow me to separate the window frame?
Once separated I...
