I have a 1984SD and my leaks mostly came in around the screws holding the rub rail to the hull. I tried pulling each screw out and sealing them but, ultimately I had to run a bead of caulk along the top of rub rail. Never had a leak yet from the horn or windshield.

I did call Taylor Made several weeks ago and they said to cut off a piece of the molding and send it in to see if they could match it up with something. Is the flock the window moldings that are in the window track? Or is that something that is used to rebed the windows. I actually re-caulked...

What evidence of water did you see regarding to rub rail leak? Black mildew like markings around the screw holes? Not sure yet that is my problem but, I see these markings around the screw holes.
