hi all. My 3.0L mercruiser in my 180 runs pretty well for being 18 yrs old. Only thing that i need to ask about is any time i go over 3500 rom the oil pressure drop from about 40psi to about 20 at WOT. Is this normal or do i have a problem. Thanks! Jason

yeah that makes sense. i saw in the specs for this boat that... Floor/Stringer System, Integral Fiberglass does this mean i don't have a concern here. im surprised that this is a wood free deck as ive seen newer sea rays with wood rot online.

hello i have a new (to me) 2001 180BR that i have been traiering and was considering mooring next season. im concerned about the carpet as most boats seem to just be left out on moorings uncovered. how do i keep the deck and stringers from rotting out if rain and moist air is constantly...

thank you! ok ill have to think about that. i guess i could put the existing seat on a swivel pedistal? didn't plan on replacing carpet but i guess i would since there would be a large hole.
