Summer can get pretty steamy down here... 90 and nasty humidity is OK on a boat that is moving, but everyday outdoor activities can be brutal. :smt119
I don't mind the 86 deg ocean temps in the summer, I am freeze baby when it comes to cold water.
Yes the beep and message went away after filling gear lube. :)
No - the trim tab is always showing "UP" until the beep starts and then the gauge goes all the way down. Will check the sensor next time at the boat.
Once I started reading this I experienced something similar.
This past weekend I was getting a long beep once I came on plane and then would see "Trim Fault" on the smart craft gauge. There was no loss of RPM or speed so the trim level did not change.
I also received the constant beeping and...
We had a nice ride on the 240 Sundeck out to Fowey lighthouse Memorial day weekend, we were there on Sunday! Anchored in 14' and crystal clear to the bottom - 83 degree water temp. (Fowey lighthouse - 7 miles SE of Key Biscayne FL)
I am looking to replace the closing cylinder on my rear cockpit floor hatch? I would like to get one that is a slow close. Has anyone made that mod? I assume you need one that is the correct weight range of the hatch and proper length / ends ect.
Any info would be great.
Thanks!
I have a Garmin 54dv (5") to the left of my compass on my 2005 Sundeck 240. It is at an angle due to the shape of the dash. Not fancy but works for me and I can see the info. It does throw of my compass a bit being that close.
Will try and snap a pick for you.
Not to jack this thread but it has me thinking also...
My boat is in south Florida saltwater.. I just replaced the zincs and here what they looked like after 30 hours in the water. The creamy residue could be wiped off but it was a little sticky. Looks similar to the OP's zincs. Not sure if...

I went for a similar Schmitt wheel (Product # 10438380 | Mfg # PU011111)
The unit came with a new hub but I don't have a puller... so I just pulled out the 6 allen screws and popped the new...
Hello,
I was looking to replace my aging and cracking 11 year old steering wheel on my 2005 Sundeck 240.
Do I just need to pull those 6 socket bolts out and drop the new wheel on there? I was hoping I don't need to pull that lower hub assembly.
The Schmitt steering wheel seems to have the...
I have a 2005 - 240SD and looking to install a Garmin/Airmar B150 thru hull transponder.
Once the boat was hauled out the shop found out the OEM 'ducer was a 20 degree tilt on my 2005.
