    Found it. Ran the engine and saw a fair amount of antifreeze running out of the radiator cap. Old cap and apparently the gaskets were worn out or just really dry.     Thanks. Exactly what i have. How about replacing the pipe nipple, which rusted out, and a hose to muffler from nipple to muffler? You loose the high temp but it was not hooked up anyway.

    Thanks, Mike. I looked at the stuffing box today. Strange looking packing nut. Its somewhat a trapazoid and 3" across. I have a wrench that opens 3" but the handle is too long. What do you use?

    Need to repack stuffing box on 1990 Sundancer 350 with 7,4's and v-drives. Prop shaft miked at 1.25". Sound right? Any tips? This looks like a nasty job. Thanks.
