I have a couple projects ahead of this one. Once I get the unit removed and torn down, I'll re-post on this thread with my findings and some more specific questions.
Did anyone sell "kits" for the main parts I need or do I need to make a list and order them individually?

Thanks for the input. I can't see it when the boat is in the water, so it won't bother me . I'll check into the skeg guards.
I do have the prop off for refinishing. This was the pre-buy picture and we just put it into the water and used it.
I purchased my boat last year and put a summers use on it. The lower portion of the outdrive is broke off. I'm not sure if it is worth replacing. Also I'm wondering if anyone knows what housings are interchangeable ? I plan on pulling the outdrive for bellows and cable replacements this winter...
Harbor Freight sells an in-line spark checker that you can use to verify ignition problems by looking for the flashing light.

Here's a clip of my wife and I on our first voyage on our new boat. From Kittanning PA to Monongahela PA. 80 mile trip, 8 locks, under 51 bridges.
Cruised down the Allegheny River and up the Monongahela River. Some of the footage was lost due to a dead battery on Friday evening and Saturday...
The head sink had a drip from the cold supply and a leak on the drain. The drains just go out through the hull. Easy fix. Broke the adapter to the faucet when I tightened it. Bought a new facet today. Hopefully the local hardware store has the adapter I need.
Can someone tell me how to remove the Starboard interior panel from the mid berth? I have some moisture there and can't figure out how the panel is attached. I also have a water problem from the head sink to the bilge area. I think the hose is broke, just not sure how I can access it to inspect...
