'03 Sundancer 320 removing seatback cushions

I removed the covers but did not find any bolts holding the top secure. The area below the red box drawn near the battery switches is very tight and only found 1 lower bolt and no others.

Replace hot water heater on a 320

Good to know it is just the elbow. I just looked at the engine service manual. Not as difficult as I thought, but not sure my back can handle it. 25 hrs is crazy and told the service manager as well. Never would use them.

Replace hot water heater on a 320

All, thanks for the good info. The heater is still working but it is leaking. The labor hrs range from 4, 9, and 25. The exhaust elbow I told them it didn't need to be hauled. Tells me they're trying to overcharge for a haul out and 25 hrs of labor. Crazy estimate. Told the service manager they...

Replace hot water heater on a 320

I've got an '03 Sundancer 320 with 350 Mags and need to replace the hot water heater. I know the port exhaust manifold must be removed. I've had a few quotes at $1400, $1900 and $4900. First 2 bids are with the boat in the water and 3rd they want to haul out with 25 hrs of labor. How many hours...

Hard bottom dingy on a 320

I've got a 320 with a West Marine Rib 275 aluminum hull and 8hp with total with at about 190#s. I keep the engine on. I'm pulling up on Hurley davits and takes 2 of us. Very difficult by myself and not worth the strain. 15hp seems like a lot for that size dinghy 8hp on ours gets up on plane...

    No Power Starboard Motor

I've got a similar situation with a 350 Mag. After 45 minutes at cruise the RPM drops offs and have to keep it below 2000. I checked fuel pressure on the rail when it occurred and pressure was 22 PSI. I'm changing out the fuel regulator and see if it fixes it.

    Help

Well I thought the problem was fixed and recently came back. Found fuel pressure dropping from ~38 PSI to below 20 and then holding at 20 PSI. Going to replace fuel cooler, pump and regulator. Also, going to check pick up in tank.

Losing RPM's for short periods of time...

I had similar problem on a Mercruiser 350 mag. Previously ran fine for 3 hrs then got worse over time. Ultimately, after ~30 minutes at cruise the RPM would drop off below 1K and then would run fine at <2000 RPM. Engine was not throwing any codes. Turned out it was the low pressure fuel pump.

    Dinghy suggestions...

KSalibs, I tried to send you a PM but unable. What size extension did you use with your Hurley? I was thinking of going with 8" extension for use on my 320 with a 8'6", and 62" beam aluminum RIB with 8HP. Thoughts?
