I frequently boat in lakes that have high alkalinity. When I use vinegar in a spray bottle should I use it in full strength or dilute it? What ratio is best? Thanks, Lakejumper

    Mixing brands of oil

I was in the middle of changing my oil on my Mercury 115hp 4-stroke outboard and spilled some. I now am short of oil and the dealership is closed. Can I put in a couple of quarts of another brand since that is all I can find on a Sunday? I am using non-synthetic and it will be the same...

Who is going to Lake Powell this summer?

Thanks for the quick responses. I think that it will be worthwhile just to see all of the beautiful scenery. I know that it won't be very warm. I didn't know about Antelope Point and will look it up. Any recommendations for RV parks or parks with hookups that are close to the lake? Lakejumper

    Is the west coast alive.

We are still alive out here in the West! I haven't posted in awhile due to having knee surgery. We did tow the boat to Lake Havasu, Az and had a wonderful week with great weather. The wind was very light and the lake was calm. We caught some nice striped bass and cruised around the lake. I...

The picture was taken at a friend's home in Lake Havasu, Az. Almost all of the homes have "rock" landscaping. I love it, no maintenance and little watering! Lakejumper

I am going to try the Starbright Wash & Wax. I will also try the Mr. Clean machine. I also have a 30 ft. fifth wheel that needs to be washed and it is a big task. BTW, I do use the Meguiar's Flagship wax and it is great.

Hi Richard: Good to see you over here and thanks for the email with the board location. I have had my 2003 220 Sundeck for almost 4 years and love it. Being a female owner, it has been a perfect size for me. I use it in Northern California lakes and trailer it occasionally to Lake Havasu...

Wolfman: I know that you posted this quite awhile ago. I have had the same problem with my black gelcoat. I have struggled to remove the hard water spots and have found a couple of products that help. You must wipe down the boat as soon as you get it out of the water if you trailer. or when...
