Sorry... maybe "hull design" was a bit misleading. I was referring more to overall exterior design. The 410 just looks a generation more modern to me and has that timeless Sea Ray look to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fairly simple stuff... cabin design, cabinetry (cherry), hull design, upholstery, etc. Most importantly, though, I have the 8.1s vs the 7.4s. I much preferred the 8.1s so that really pushed me toward the 410. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Zorba... I completely agree. My wife and undid go on it (we dock at CIC) and were even more disgusted. The layout isn't awful but the materials are. The beds were cheap foam, the dash panel was poorly constructed, etc. I'll take my '01 410DA over that any day!

Thanks everyone. I agree that fixing a 15 year old unit is likely not worth the money, so a replacement is in my near future. My marina is charging $270 for the install... So, about three hours work. Sounds like something I could do myself. Stupid question... Do new units come already...
