I replaced the waste hoses several years ago, and then 1 year ago replaced the toilets with macerators. The wind sensor is connected wirelessly to the 8616, and shows up on the separate display as well. We are working our way to Alaska. With a new (to us) boat, we won't go all the way this...

Yeah I spent a lot of time upgrading and tweaking to get her just so. We go on long trips -- last summer we were out for 2 months.

Bittersweet moment - we’ve put our 520 up for sale. She’s a great boat, but our kids don’t come out anymore and our boating lifestyle has changed. I appreciate all the great advice from this group over the years! https://www.yachtworld.com/yacht/2010-sea-ray-520-sedan-bridge-9279634/

Hoping for some creative ideas - I need to replace the starboard engine vent cover (the photo is of the port side). I've called SeaRay (no help), emailed some salvage yards and a variety of websites, but no luck. Talking to a couple of local fabricators, but looking to be 4-6 months out and a...

Great list. I recommend exercising all the seacocks. We keep our boat in the water all year round, and I exercise the seacocks monthly/every time we use the boat.

Turns out Seaboard shipped the wrong fittings! They're sending the correct ones.

I ordered the sbmar filters, but the hose from the turbo is larger than the fitting at the end of the filter. Did you replace that fitting?

How are you cleaning them? Per my mechanic’s instructions, I’ve been soaking them in warm water with a bit of degreasing dish soap, then rinsing them.

I’m planning to replace the air cleaners on the main engines and read this article: https://www.sbmar.com/articles/cummins-qsm11-air-cleaner-options/ Any feedback on which filter to go with?

Yes, utilized the 3 bank charger. I don't recall exactly how it's wired-it was 7 years ago. I know it runs into a battery switch, and I think it goes into the AC main panel (in front of the battery box) and then into the charger, but I would have to look through my records, which are at home.

Usually I can go about 12 hours or so--say from 8pm to 8am--and be at about 12.2v the next morning. As we're out on the boat for 2 months right now, I put in a 100l Dometic fridge/freezer which runs of 12v (or 120v ac). Unfortunately it was too big to fit anywhere but the flybridge, which gets a...
