Sorry but maybe I am just blind but where on an 07 340da with inboard 8.1 engines are the cool fuel filters. If you could send a pic then even better.

So if it doesn't need to be Baltimore. We keep our boat in Havre de grace, Md which is 1/2 way between philly and Baltimore and is at the top of the bay. It's 5 minutes off I95 so it's convenient.
We have a lot of PA and NJ people in our Marina. Great little marina called Tidewater.

For what it's worth I went from a 19ft Yamaha jet drive to a 340. So single jet drive to twin inboards. Learning curve of course but well worth it. Took about one season to be comfortable.

Same problem with shurflo pump. Check the strainer first. Mine turned out to be a wore out pump. Pump couldn't pump up the system to the set pressure. Diaphragms were worn out when I disassembled. Replaced the pump and works fine.

So update. Took unit apart slowly and carefully and got to offending piggy back board. It was not seated. I reseated the board and reassembled. Fired it up tonight and as the French say...Voila. Works perfectly. Problem solved

Check the filter again. I had similar issue and it was "mung" in tank that kept clogging it.good mild bleach flush fixed it.

Last ditch effort to cure display issues. All signs point to piggyback board that is unseating.
So has anyone here taken one of these apart. I can find some other non-CSR forums that talk to this process but wanted to see if anyone has first hand experience.

Funny but I just started to notice this on my 2007 340. I chalked it up to overnight generator use on the hook. Maybe a bad assumption.

Just for closure...removed hose from pump outlet and disconnected hose from cooler outlet. Used a garden hose and nozzle and back flushed from cooler outlet through pump outlet. Took a few times but I got all the pieces.
Installed the new impeller and works like a champ.
