    When I first got mine I had to sit in her while it rained hard to find all of the leaks. Most of the comments were problems I had. Window bedding, Hatch horn and rub rail leaks. Once you get them all fixed life is good. than something else brakes!

    2006 290SLX newbie owner - battery question

    I use a battery tender on my 20 footer even on the trailer. I have a buddy who rack stows so he put a couple solar tenders on his boat. Turning the switch off is a great practice "if the boat isn't in the water" but in the water could be very bad. them pumps like that juice.

    Dwna1a Dude I'm down the James River at Leeward Marina "owned and operated by the city of Newport News. They can not/will not take tips. There is laws against city employs taking tips. And I think there probably are laws against offering them. Funny thing is I think they deserve them.

    I'm looking at a set of 17 x 17 with 1.25 shafts off a 340 DA was hoping they might fit. The water is frozen around the JRB but not to thick maybe 1/2 inch at the most. I was able to break the ice around the boat, then run my heat/ac pump and start the boat Saturday.
