I just got done doing this same process. I went to our local laundry mat and used their oversized industrial washer for mine, worked great. I'm getting ready to put them back on the boat today!

We are going to dock at Sandusky Harbor this year. So we will be in the bay. We would love to do some longer runs. I want to make it to Algonac Harbor Club on the St. Clair river. Not sure if we will be able to this year but I want to try. Where are you docked?

The weather has finally allowed my surveyor to check the boat out. My inspection was dead on with his. I know that I took a risk but it pad off. I do want to thank everyone for the advise. Now its time to melt some ice and get this bad boy in the water!!! Cheers

You can also take the top off the sea strainer, pull the cage out, shut the sea cock off and put your garden hose into the strainer. It will over flow into the bilge until you fire the generator (not building pressure like sticking the garden hose directly into the intake hose).

The detailers at our dealership will wash every boat with dawn before they start to polish and wax. Think of your gelcoat like skin it has pours and if you don't clean them out you will get a build up of wax and dirt in them. This will (over time) make it harder to get the gelcoat to shine.
