I've got the vessel view mobile on my boat as well. I've got some of those same faults on my boat, I think they come up anyway if your boat doesn't have certain things. The steering and trim ones I don't have though, and those might be worth looking into.
I had a 220 select a couple of years ago. 350 with B3. Only issue I had was I blew the upper gears. I think that's not a common issue and really wouldn't blame sea ray for it. Other than that, it was a great boat.
I had one, a guy came down from Toledo and bought it a couple of years ago. Nice boats but I wanted to go a little bigger and a little faster. I had the 350 in mine.
I've got the MW1 remote on my M606, it works very well. The remote floats and is waterproof. As far as how the wired remotes are ran, it would depend on what boat, but it should be fairly easy to trace out. Mine didn't have wired remotes, but I know they changed the input type in 09 so...
I did an M606 but you'll have to replace the remotes, the plugs will be different. The good news is, the wiring harness from the old clarion will plug right in.
If I'm understanding what you're saying, you're opening the cap on the left side of the picture and having to squeeze it though. Opening the other side will pour it directly in.
I just bought a 06 220 Select with the 350 Mag and Bravo III last winter. I paid 23,500 for mine, with 158 hours. It's been a great boat for us. Sounds like you're getting a good deal. Make sure all the mechanical stuff works right and have fun with it.
Yes the last time I was there the lake was about 16 feet low and it was tricky at Cross Timbers. Lots of trees sticking up.

I may regret not getting one but I know we will be at Grand quite a bit this year. I'll probably settle in and get one next year.
