    340 SUNDANCER THREAD

Dale, Thanks, I will pull the filter. I would guess the water/ATF sludge that I removed and replaced may have clogged the pump. I will check the filter first, but either way bad pump or damage results in a haul and R&R right? Or is the pump external and replaceable? Carl

    340 SUNDANCER THREAD

Hey Dale, No the lever moves and I went below to make certain I was getting full throw out of the linkage. That's fine but when the engine has been running about 5 minutes when you throw the lever either all forward or all reverse there is no power to the prop. Carl

    340 SUNDANCER THREAD

Transmission "issues". Hey gang I am working on bringing the 2001 340 I bought last fall up to speed. Lots of work just to renew and replace. I learned that I am a circus contortionist as I replaced the plugs... I digress. This spring I was checking fluids and the port tranny was FULL and...

    Official 2003.5-2008 340 Sundancer Thread

I just added the memory foam that Costco carries for a king. It "relaxed" to about 3" thick and was simple to cut and overlay the current mattress. I want to say $79?! I have slept on it and it makes a world of difference and does not get too hot (of course I may change that tune come summer).

Re: 2003.5-2008 340 Sundacer Thread Thanks, I am not inclined to go to that trouble and it seems continuous air flow was the design. Its not a bother I simply wanted to know if I had an issue to chase. Thanks for the quick answers.

Re: 2003.5-2008 340 Sundacer Thread Its been cold here in Charleston! Quick question. When in "auto" mode and the heater panel is on, is the blower ever supposed to shut off? My heat cycles fine and when the heat (and cooling water pump) shut down the fan blower continues. The fan blower...

Ok got it. Impellers is a great call didn't think of that and its a simple way to prevent problems. I probably have another year on the exhaust maintenance based on records but good to know. I will have to look at what you are talking about on the Gen, not familiar enough yet, but I wont be...

Hi folks I simply wanted to say hello and apologize for my ignorance WAAAYYY in advance. I recently purchased a 2001 Sundancer 340 and am about to embark upon my first journey as a boat owner. I have raced as crew on sailboats for many years and have leased and sailed them as well. However I...
