I have a 1973 240 SRV that has a black paint or sealer of some sort in the engine bay and inside of the transom. Anyone know what this stuff is, and do they still make it?
What's the best way to remove old bottom paint?
The paint is very chalky and thin enough to see the white gelcoat in places. I would like to just remove it if possible. The boat will not be moored and will be used in fresh water.
Hi:
I'm new to the forum, and I recently acquired a 1973 Sea Ray 240 SRV. The boat needs some work, and I have not had it in the water yet, but plan to have it ready sometime next summer.
Wondering if anyone knows the correct size prop for this boat? From what I have been able to...
