thanks guys, i checked the battery and it was completely dead but the battery place said it was still good, just needed good charge. im gonna put it back in and see if anything changes. will report back what i find. thanks again everyone for your responses.

Do you think the grinding when trying to start is the starter??

I had those on my list of things to check however I believe everything was changed in June. How about bad starting batteries, could these effect the idle?? I'm pretty sure my starting batteries are shot. I'm gonna test them this weekend but just wondering if they can effect the idle?

Does anyone know if the battery charger will boil the batteries or does it shut off when they are fully charged??
