Hope im posting in the right place...I have just changed my alternator, starboard side, for the second time on my 5.7 Horizon powered 2006 320 dancer. First one was making a clicking noise...searay replaced it on warranty.....started making that clicking,...bad bearing sounds again two short...
Here comes my question...I have a 2006 320 Dancer with original 3 blade props...5.7 mags and my boat travels at approx 20 kts at 3500 RPM on a smooth day.
My frined has a 2001 310 Dancer with the same exact engines...he cruises at 24 knots at 23400 RPM...does anyone have an explanation? I had...
thanks for getting back...cant say for sure why I wanted to get in there....was watching a cruisers inc owner bleach his out and flush with lots of water....could be stains on the pastic...but it looks like a buildup of solid waste.
Congratulations...we enjoy our 320 immensely; and use it often. You must have felt like you were in command of a large vessel on the way home...I remember when we brought ours home...All the Best!...Ed
OK Barry...from my experience you had an air lock in the check valve which exists the shower sump box....this cause the pump to run and run but not pump...thus it doesnt shut down...sounds like the pump motor may have burned out to me...I dont know of an fuse in the panel for this pump...good...
I had same issue this year. Changed the vent filter....same smell...pumped out, filled with water, pumped again and again...same sewer smell.
As I was preparing to remove the toilet I realized that what I was smelling was water that had gone bad; smells jsut like the sewer.

Well my Nautley slide on davit system arrived and it is now installed. Not a big deal...everything went fine...but how on earth do you guys strap down the dinghy on this thing?...im very puzzled....thanks for the anticpated help from the cavalry...Ed:huh:
