Thanks for the responses. I spent this weekend scrubbing my carpets. Way to hot and muggy for much else on the outside. I am still debating the re-carpet issue. Maybe I'll take it one section at a time. If I do, I'll add to this post all the issues that arise. Thanks again,

I turned off the A/C on our boat for a week and the interior refrigerator died. I turn the temp up to 76 and let it run when we are not there. I was thinking that it would keep the moister down and the spiders happy. You have to have happy spiders!
