Make sure the outlet isn't tripped. Besides the breaker, there's a reset button on the GFCI outlet nearest the breaker box and next to the RCA inputs. Just press the square button in until it clicks, I suspect that's the problem.
Your results will vary on protection level with just the zinc/gloss paint. I did the same thing the first two years and I'm in mostly fresh/brackish water. The drives looked great, but honestly the level of protection wasn't the best. If you boat sits in the water, find/use a good protective...

Beautiful boat. Is the extended Bimini top off the back factory or custom? I'd love to add that setup to my 310.
Bring mine home every winter. I have a some closet rods that I put in the garage to lay the canvas over and hang against the wall. I put a pillow case or sheet between anything that has the potential to scratch.
1. No one fixes anything at our marina without an estimate. While they certainly need time to do the diagnostics (you pay for that) and they can certainly find more issues once the patient is open, they always call or email in advance.
2. Great advice on the ECT sensor, also consider crank...
I installed a DirecTV dish at my slip and it drew a few chuckles at first. I ran a new RG6 cable from that I snaked under the cover of my arch (closet to the pole where I mounted the dish) and basically snaked it through the same channels from the engine bay into the cabin. It was a bit of...
Assuming you have the older smart craft display (monochrome version), I typically see a few on eBay from folks that have upgraded. You can also basically plug and play swap with a newer Vessel View 4 or 7, which have dropped in price now that the newer 502 and 702 versions have been released.
Why do kayakers need to be anywhere near a fuel dock, it's asking for trouble. The last thing we or they need is other issue to deal with at a fuel dock. I love to kayak, but I would never be around the ramp area or fuel dock unless it's absolutely necessary. That guy was just being a dick.
Great post.
I'll freely admit when I had smaller boats, I didn't really commit to the knowledge of proper boating. I was certainly a safe pilot, but not a smart one. Concepts of channels and markers (other than hazard and no wake), were something the big boats needed to worry about. I...
I don't mind bluntness, but why would they label a charger "wet cell only" when in 2007 AGMs were readily available? I know gel cells have a completely different cycle and many have no issues with AGMs, but it seems like they would have said "not for gel batteries" but I also note that the...
Just wanted to share some additional information...
If you're like me, you've removed your existing sensors and cleaned them as a first step to resolve any issues. Like me, you probably took them apart, cleaned and reassembled.
The floats are directional and they are numbered...and they...

Beautiful boat. Where did you get the Bimini top? That's exactly what I'm looking for.
There are actually kits you can order in 12 and 24" sizes that you cut down to fit the various levels.
385311254 is the part number for 24" - it can be made into any level.
