I was thinking a triple if we got a 2005 or newer as the dry weight would be 7500. Ours is only 6200 dry. Now you have me questioning the triple or double
Hello- we will be storing the boat on the trailer during the winter inside the marina's indoor heated hangars. Trips will consist of 100+ miles around Michigan on most weekends throughout the warm season.
For all of those who have helped me the past 2 months, thank you! We finally found a Sundancer that had the feeling of "this is our boat!". It's a 2001 260 with the 7.4 in it. We were looking at newer used vessels, however, the 2001 was in immaculate cosmetic condition and the owner had a...
We been looking a lot over the past 2 months. We have been looking at 2004 and newer but this happens to fall a little older so I was asking for help with the price. For the comment "200 hours seems low for its age". How is this negative? The owner is 87 years old and one owner.
please take a look at this listing for me. I have other photos of the inside from the guy. Does this seem like a decent price? I know he will go a little lower.
I think the 5.0 would be ok on a 240 but I'd like a larger engine on the 260. We are just checking out the size of the layout. I didn't find anything on my side of the state near Bay City. Lots in the Marinas but we don't want to ask anyone to see their personal boats
i tried messaging you back. It appears your inbox is too full to accept new mail. Must be popular lol.
thanks for the links! We are headed to skipper buds in Grand Haven on Saturday to look at one. Without an arch though which my wife really wants, so we won't pursue it. More to see the...
Thank you all for the opinions. Because of the help, I am no longer going to further communicate with this boat! In the mean time, if anyone knows of a 240 or 260 for grabs and know the owner personally, please provide their info for me. We are looking for a 2000-2004 range with the dry...
Whoops, a link would be helpful. My first post was from my iphone and the link must not have stuck on the form. I edited the original below, but here it is... http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2003-sea-ray-sundancer-260-618810/?zmc=cfem1
Hello-
my wife and I are considering traveling from Michigan to NC to look at this boat. Does this seem like a good purchase based on the photos and description? We would of course have an inspection done.
thanks for your thoughts...
I've been searching quite a bit online to see if I can purchase a Sports Spoiler (I call it radar arch) for a 2003 or 2004 260 Sundancer. My wife and I have found very nice used 260's with and without the radar arch. If we end up with one without the arch, we are trying to find out if we...
I would imagine a metal/steel trailer would just be adding weight as well. We are looking used as this will be our first boat owned (not new to boating though). I was thinking of selling whatever trailer it will come with, if it does, and buy a new trailer.
