Ok so I have decided to do some mods to the 305 engine. I am going to put on a new 4 barrel intake and Holley carb. and I am thinking about the exhaust out the back under the swim platform, but I am wondering if they are suppose to be in the water at idle or does it matter?
How many hours did yall have on yours before you changed the impellers? Mine is a 2006 with 90 hours and I havent changed it yet. Is it a good idea to do it this year?
I bought my boat in 2006 and when I purchased the boat I bought the stuff I needed for a oil change at the same time. At 10 hours I changed it. Then every year since. It now has 90 hours on it and runs great. Now I run amsoil and boat runs great and oil looks new still after this season of...
I hate to say it but my Marine Max sucks also. They are the worst service shop I have ever seen. Not only do they take forever to do anything, but there is always some kind of excuse they have for not having it done.
As for your boat....glad you got it fixed!!
That is a great price. It kind of makes me sick that I owe more than you paid for the same boat, but I love the boat and will be keeping it for along time! You will love the boat. I know I have.
I would go with the snap ones. I have replaced my marine max custom fit one at 380 bucks each 3 times since I purchased the boat new and I regret not getting the snap on covers. Mine wont fit in my garage so it sits in sun.
I was wondering if any 185 or 195 owners thought about putting subs in the fiberglass part under the back seat area? Not where the coolers go, but where you could see them if you turned around and looked back.
Hey guys I have a 195 sport with a 305 carb and was wondering what your oil pressure is? Mine is pegging 80 plus at wide open throttle and at idle it is 40. At 3500 it is just below 80. Thanks
