1986 300 Sundancer with twin mercs, I have a question? On my starboard side only when docking and I'm switching from forward to reverse my engine shuts off. Does anyone know what can be causing this? I was told that there is a shut off when switching gears and it's suppose to re engage...

Thanks jvm225 for all the great info. Well turns out my bilge was cooked motor locked up. Went and bought a new one.now I'm getting no power there. Cables looked a little on the burnside..so I have to continue to play and see what my issue is. Any idea where the fuse would be for the aft bilge...
