1998 370DA has a fuse box at the helm (not breakers but fuses). The lettering as to which fuse/connection is on the box has faded and can't be read anymore and I'd like to know what each fuse is powering. Specifically the most forward row of connections has 4 red wires and the wire on the far...
As I pull up the floor to go down to the bilge area the rubber gaskets are just pealing away. They are in excellent condition and a little goo-gone takes the now slime adhesive right off. What can I use to re-glue them back on and not fall off because of the heat. This is rubber to fiberglass.
I have the Sea-Fire G500A on my 1998 370DA. I don't see a place where there was a pin or where a pin could go into stop it from going off. This is original to the boat I'm positive. I see an electrical connection to the bottle but does anyone know if I unscrew that connection will the unit go...
Well I upgraded to a Garmon 741XS chartplotter however i'm not a fan of running the Garmon radar though the 741. I just like a bigger display for radar like the old Raymarine that came with the boat. I don't see a Garmon radar only option? Does anyone know if there is an option since I...
My old fresh water pump bit the dust two years ago and I asked the marine store to get me a replacement. Don't remember what I had on the boat but they gave me a JASCO PAR-MAX 4.0GPM "washdown pump". Said that was fine to use as a replacement.
This pump says it's 15 AMPS at 60 PSI and then...
I realize the Merc 7.4 MPI 454 is no longer made and Merc does not have re manufactured blocks available anymore. Lost the starboard engine at the end of the 2018 boating season. Having the engine taken out and sent to a local machine shop for a tear down to see what the problem is (stopped...
We have a 1998 Sea Ray Sundancer 370 which has Weaver davits mounted and the current dinghy is a Achilles 10' air floor with a 6hp Tohatsu engine. We've laid the engine on the platform when under power.
We are buying a RIB inflatable that is about 20lbs heavier and will keep the engine mounted...
1998 Sea Ray 370 Sundancer with 454 MPI Horizons. Approximate hours -600.
Port engine burns 20% more fuel at idle and underway compared to starboard engine. Had a scanner checking for codes and data. There was an error code for a faulty TPS. Also the port engine "surges" up and down in...
Engine cranks and cranks and cranks then starts to start, eventually does and runs fine. Never had that hard of a start last season. I only have about 1/4 tank of gas (or less) in my starboard tank. Sounds like the engine isn't getting fuel right away. Someone mentioned that the generator on...
Winter storage in Maryland this year. Batteries are dead as I would expect so I plugged in shore power to Line 1 (this is a 37 Sundancer so there are two shore power connections). Line 1 meter show power so I turned the battery charger on and I see a little amperage draw but it's a long way to...
I have a 1998 Sundancer 370 and I would like to upgrade the engine monitoring by adding a multifunction display like a Garmin or other GPS,Radar,Sonar combo that also has engine monitoring.
Can anyone tell me if these Merc 8.1 MPI's have a connection on them already to make the connections...
I just noticed that while running I have some white exhaust coming out from both sides of my boat. I'm a new boat owner of this 1998 370 Sundancer with 500 hours in the engines. It's coming out of the ports that my raw water thats cooling the engines. Problem?
Just got this boat and was puled over by the coast guard for a safety inspection. Neither of us could fine the valve to direct the head waste to the holding tank or through the bilge. Can anyone tell me where to look?
