Ok, after I take the screw cover off on the outside, and then remove them screws, should I be able to remove the outside of it? The reason I’m asking is because I just got done redoing the entire of the cabin so I really don’t want to remove anything I don’t have to from the inside.

I have a 1990 7.4 motor in my dancer and I'm in need of replacing my exhaust flappers. Can anyone point me in the right direction, all the ones I find have an equal amount on each side of thst little rid that separates each side? Mine has one side longer than the other.

I hope I finally tracked down the noise that's been coming from the starboard side of my motor, towards the rear and near the bottom. Can anyone tell me where I can get a set of these flappers, theyre not exactly centered.

So is there just one plug on each side or us there supposed to be two?

I was only able to locate 1 plug on each side down low. What I did was take them out, let all the water drain out, put them back in then I took the thermostat housing off and dumped nearly 4 full gallons into her. Should this be enough protection?
