Sorry for the late reply...yep, that's the panel all of SeaRay knows nothing about. My local marine electrical guy told me to use 15amp fuses in everything, they'll work fine. So far (45 days) so good!
THX for the input...I did Call SeaRay Merritt Island, got routed to corporate Customer Service. They can't find any documentation for that wiring panel...odd, as all the other elec panels are well labeled and documented in the owners manual. At this point, I think the only option is to get...
Looking for a wiring diagram for the fuse panel & wiring busses on the electrical panel located to right of the 'captain seat' behind the detachable covered panel. Wire busses very well marked, fuse panel to left of the busses not marked at all. SeaRay has no diagram for this panel (though the...
Recently sold my 460 Sundancer, moved to the Sarasota area. Still have the boating itch, just not the 'buying itch'...at least not yet.
Wonder if there are any SunDancer (or equivalent) owners in my area interested in renting/chartering/partnering his/her boat? I have many years of running...

Looked at the link you posted...while I don't know that specific 460, I do know the listing broker Lee Hutton. In fact, he sold me a 460 a couple years ago. Can't say enough good things about Lee and his way of doing business. Lee was a GREAT help with my 460 purchase...he oversaw all the...

Lots of info/details and pics, a very good boat.
Probably best to pm me, much quicker & easier to discuss...more secure as well. Thx, look fwd to hearing from you.
From my couple years reading CSR, Frank is a truely valuable and trusted resource...always ready and willing to lend his (correct) observations to anyone's questions.
Agreed, the mid-40's SunDancers are reliable, enjoyable boats...late 90's/early 2000's generally well priced.
I've got a 2000...
Thx to all for the suggestions...it was the capacitor, an $8 part. Ordered it from Newark Electrical in Ohio...excellent service, quick delivery. Generally easy repair.
Thx for the input...did clean all the impellor parts, but problem is with the pump not starting, even without the impellor housing attached. Have purchased a new capacitor as my buddy advised, will see if that solves the problem. Will keep the forum updated.
Had a similar problem with the SMX II on my 460, the 'set temp' would run to 99. 'Flightsystems' told me that's a common problem, the gel in the pushbutton pads over time cause all sorts of weird problems. They rebuilt my control panel, really good price with very quick service. Good folks, good...
Dometic waterpump for my a/c system stopped working...took the impellor section apart suspecting dirt clog, but was pretty clean. Pump WILL run if I start the magnetic collar spinning using my finger. A friend says it's probably the pump's capacitor...should be a fairly simply replacement job...
Contact the CSR sponsor BoatswainsLocker...they have all the original specs for SeaRay canvas...were/are the OEM supplier. VERY good folks to deal with.
New Guest (made by Marinco) battery switch for sale. Model 2304A-B (black dial). On/Off switch. Bought 2, only needed 1 as it turned out. New switch perfect match to the existing switch...2000 era SunDancer. BEST OFFER.
When I started looking, thought the 50 SunDancer was the way to go...but the interior layout (essentially bunkbeds in the 2nd cabin) changed my mind. Also looked at the 54 Dancer, even a 58. All 2000 or so vintage. Thought the larger boats would be difficult to handle solo...looked at a 460. Has...

I've had a 460DA for over a year now...can't find a fault with it. Interior layout works for me...the light 'maple' cabin finish really brightens up the interior. No problem getting up on plane (Cummins), will cruise at 24 or so forever. Agree, do wish it had more fresh water capacity as...
Captain's chair on my 2000 460DA is stuck in face-fwd position. Can't seem to get it released, used all the levers/and knobs. Hit the underside mechanism with some penetrating oil (and WD-40), still stuck in position. Any ideas?
