Hey everyone. I made a group on Facebook for 36 Sedan Bridge owners with the hopes of gaining more 36 owners and more participation. Please join:

Hey all. How are you all handling battery management and any idea how many amps the Eplex system is drawing on average? When out for multiple nights off the grid I’m have difficulty keeping up with my used amps even with considerable gen run time and good batteries. ( I have 4 x Optima blue...
No issues thus far (knocking on wood) other than every electrician is afraid of it. I wanted to add an inverter but no electrician wants to risk potential issues.
Mine is under the stairs on the bulkhead wall pretty much behind the sink. Most likely a minor leak somewhere, it only takes a small drip to cause occasional cycling of the pump. I had a a leaking shower head and a leaking head feed when I bought mine. The shower issue I had to replace the...
Ditto - It's annoying the black water gauge doesn't read in more useful increments. I have to get down and hold a flashlight to the side of the tank at times. The fresh water gauge is great - I had to replace my fresh water pump and the new one is 4gpm so I know what you mean. We compete on...
Also, a liveaboard turned me on to Zaal No Flex Digestor for treatment and I haven't looked back. Occasionally I fill my tank about 75% with fresh water and put extra treatment in there between boat uses. It breaks down the the hard/dry deposits in the tank. I also replaced the filter which...
Mine only reads 50% and I assume 100% but have not hit or tested the 100% level. It wasn't reading at all when purchased the boat in 2018 until I had it serviced. Once working, when mine got up to 50% I put a tape mark on the tank and it is a bit higher up the tank than I expected. I was...
Came across this post as need to get a replacement shower curtain. I asked my canvas shop about a custom one and they said it would likely mold etc. Have you had any issues and what did they make yours out of?
Okay, so my plan was to put in a magnum inverter but I'm having a really hard time finding a marine electrician that wants to do this with an Eplex in the boat. I get it, I don't want a mess either, but has anyone successfully integrated an inverter into their 36?
Sorry for delay in responding - For some reason I haven't been receiving notifications on this string. Did you see my post from 9/11/2018 on this string where I listed all the LED's? I fully converted last year.
Okay, LED's. This is the fourth boat I've converted to LED so I've done this a few times. Everything that is dimmable dims just fine - In fact, I rarely use the interior or exterior courtesy lights not dimmed. I believe I have everything you need below assuming the 2007 Sedan is the same bulb...
I have a boating friend that is a retired marine electrician so he helped me with the battery reconfig. There may be a better AGM amp hours option for the house than the Optima blue 31's (75 amp hours) but I went with them as the dealer had already swapped all four thruster batteries (plus two...
Ditto this.
AJ - I just purchased my 36 Sedan this past June and have spent a ton of time going through her tweaking. The boat is a bit glutenous on amp draw on the port side in particular where the fridge, freezer and I believe all the eplex is powered. Make sure your charger is functioning...
Hi Jim,
Good point, the IP600 would be a nice fit into the existing. Do you have this unit? My reluctance would be the potential of future issues with that flip cover, especially if it was being opened and closed frequently to remove the IPOD...unless i were to leave the IPOD in there...
Greetings from a long lurking newbie who finally registered!
My Clarion CMD4 display has gone out and I'm ready to upgrade. I'm considering the Clarion M502 with either the MW1 or MF1 remotes or the Fusion MS-RA205 with the MS-NRX200i remote. Kind of leaning towards the Fusion right now...
