I have a set of props removers from my 1998 400 Sundancer with 3116 TA Caterpillar engines. There is some galvanic pitting from the boat next to me on one of these as shown in the pictures. They were balanced and tuned about three months before removal. They are 22x23 nibral 4 blades. 1-1/2”...
Pair of 3/4” shaft props. Best offer. One will need to be reconditioned as the boat next to us in the marina had a bonding issue.
Contact me for more pictures.

Oh joy...........and I hate the thought of paying someone to do something I should be able to do myself. Advil before and beer after sounds like the plan. Thanks for the advice.

That's just what I was afraid of. I am 6'3 and 220 pounds. This sounds like a lot of fun.........maybe if I buy the Mrs. a bottle of Champagne and hand her the tools. Hmmmm. I was actually thinking of removal...

Has anyone removed the curved backrest on the starboard side? Of course, I am experiencing some rot and want to remove it. I can see that there are screws into the fiberglass below the arch but I am at a loss...

So........after climbing into the forward berth I discovered that there are multiple attachment screws for each bolster and they are on the top side of these bolsters and screwed down into the shelf. Hope this...

Has anyone else been "asked" to recover the bolsters which run around the forward berth on a 400 DA? The admiral has issued the order to replace the outdated fabric but I am at a loss as to how to remove...
I have had the bottom cleaned about two weeks ago and the situation didn't change. At the same time I also had both cutlass bearings replaced. Curiouser and curiouser.
The water temperature is in the 70s but having lived in Florida for almost 20 years now, I consider that too cold to dive the...
I have only had the BIQ (boat in question) for a few months and it's my first diesel boat so forgive the ignorance in the question. When I had the survey and sea trial both motors spooled up quite evenly and both ran up to the same 2800 rpm WOT. Now, after maybe 30 hours of use the port motor...
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have noticed that at idle in the marina that the water flowing from the above water line outlets is appreciably different between sides. The port side has a small amount of water, while the starboard side has a good, high volume flow. When I...
Re: Starboard Wiper Motor 410 Sundancer solved
I have a 400 Sundancer and the port wiper access is my problem. There is a valance panel over the galley cabinets that contains the recessed lights and the motor is behind this panel. I can remove one of the lights and see the back of the motor but...

In the 400, there does not appear to be a separate access panel. The valance contains the speaker and lighting and it appears that the wiper motor must be behind this valance however it doesn't seem like it is...

I purchased one from Radio Shack and it is substantially louder than the Sea Ray one on mine. I still have the issue where the buzzer works as designed for the starboard engine but does not alarm when I attempt to start the port engine. There only appears to be one buzzer (that I can find) and...
