Has anyone bought a boat from Canada? What are the pitfalls? Are there any Customs issues or extra taxes? How would you get to RI from Toronto? Thanks in advance.
I am selling a beautiful 44DA for a friend of mine. She is in excellent condition. If anyone is interested or knows of anyone looking, hit me up.

In my love hate relationship with my boat, I am in the hate faze. It's getting cooer at night so we put the heat on. The salon heat won't come on and has a code of hi/ps. The stateroom one runs fine. The filters are clean and no obstructions. Any hints?
My next issue is my shower sump...
Does anyone have any idea why the fuel gauges and the electronic smart system would always show full when the tanks are empty on a SeaRay 44 Sundancer?
I am hoping Frank Webster chimes in here.
I have 20 year old 3116ta 350hp diesels. The specs say I should get 2800rpm's. I did two years ago when I bought the boat. It also topped out around 25kts.
Now I am only getting 2600 rpm and topping out at 20kts. I cleaned out my Racor's and changed...
So last week we stayed on a mooring in Montauk. We ran the genny in the morning and the afternoon. It was warm during the night and I couldn't use my CPAP, so sleeping sucked. Last night we stayed on a mooring and decided to run the genny all night. Had a/c and was able to use my CPAP. I slept...
I have a friend who is looking for the latch that holds the top sliding part of the main cabin door. If anyone has the 2007 44DA or something like that, and can post a picture of the latch I would appreciate it. It's not in the manual.
This was swimming by my dock in Newport, RI a couple of days ago. It's about 1 1/2 feet long. Any ideas?

We are thinking about upgrading. We are thinking of selling our 1996 400DB. It has 1064 hrs on Cat diesels. Runs great. In what I consider good condition. If anyone knows of somebody looking for one let me know.
In January I retired from the Harwich Fire Department. I was a firefighter for 33 years. The Union asked me what I wanted for a retirement gift. I said a new bell for my boat would be great. I was blown away. They got me a sand casted bronze bell that looks great in my bridge.
I know this has probably been covered before, but, I have 2 vacuflush heads. Both hold water ok. The problem is the vacuflush pumps keep cycling every 20 minutes or so. Any advice?
I have the Strong dripless seal on my starboard shaft. It is no longer dripless, causing the bilge pump to come on occasionally. Can I fix this in the water and how do I do it?
