For ventless cans, do you all not worry about it sitting out in the sun and pressurizing (with potential to spring a leak and spray)? I am curious about the answers on this thread, but my new dinghy (as of Wednesday) is a jet ski. So I'd need a bit more gas than the usual dinghies.

Oh, and my Mercury manuals show the cool fuel on the port side of the engine... And the pic looks a LOT different.

I have a small leak from a raw water hose on my 5.0l MPI. On the forward, starboard corner of my starboard engine, there is a box that has a fuel line coming into it on the forward end, as well as raw water in and out on the aft end. It is a black box and I can't figure out from the Mercury...

How do I turn down my Northstar output as recommended above? I only know of the volumes on the external speaker and on the handset itself.

Agreed, except don't winterize the engines. That way I can go out when I want.

I winterize the fresh and black water systems, but not my engines. I have a bilge heater and love it. It paid for itself the second year. I also like that I can go out for a boat ride whenever I want. Of course, I am not as far north as others, so my winters are not as severe. Mine doesn't...

If you all think your city water system doesn't have the same gunk in it, I think you are naive. There is likely growth in ANY water tank or system. I know it was in the Navy.
