Engine serial numbers will definitely help as well as knowing sterndrive versus inboards. Have you taken pictures of the engines and the parts needed? Pics always help for reference when away from the boat.

I would think so, yes. Just be careful with the panel "corners" and don't over tighten the screws when re-installing (cracks).

I have not tried the vinegar method. Being so cheap, if it works, I'll have to give it a try. Let us know if you do and how it works.

Hi, I had a similar issue and it was the IAC Valve. Codes would help determine the actual issue. I recently saw one on here for sale. If that one is not available, I have one.

Went from 2006 320 to 2006 290 :-) The family and I like the 290 much better for several reasons.

How do your props look? What is your RPM at WOT?
