I've seen lots of post about not reaching wot, but no replies to what the end fix was. I had the same problem, 4000 rpm max, and had my mech plug into the computer for diagnosis. cap was ok, wires ok, plugs, ok, but knock sensor in alarm, timing advanced to 22 degrees. Answer...eathonal...
