I have the same boat in the same year, mine being black instead of red. Looking at the add, it seems as though the boat has been taken care of and 76 hours is nothing. Still good for a mechanic to go over it regardless.
How many people do you plan on carrying? Gear, coolers, etc. adds up quick...
I run a 19P 3-blade on my 2007 185 sport with the 4.3 motor. I put on an aftermarket tower and pull boards and tubes all the time. This prop gave me better low end power for pulling people up out of the water. Top end is about 48 MPH with this setup.

I love my 185 sport. Wish it was a little bigger but the 4.3 gets the boat up and moving easily and has good power. I swapped props for a better hole shot and pull power for wakeboarding but it will hit 50 with light cargo and a couple people on board. With the wife and three kids, it will still...
I have a 2007 and mounted two speakers up front. I drilled a hole between the backrest and the grab handle. Even just adding those two make a huge difference.

I have a 2007 185 sport and run a 19p 3-blade aluminum prop. Holeshot is great and top speed is around 48 with four adults on board. I believe the stock prop for these boats is a 21.
I have a 2007 185 and am looking at installing a tower. I like the look of yours and was wondering if you knew what brand/model it was?
Your boat looks real clean...
There will be some numbers on your prop. Write the numbers down and you can just plug that into a Google search to bring up what prop it is and who supplies them.
Go online and buy a new prop and hub kit and install them on the boat. Take the old damaged one and get it reconditioned. Once...
Well I'm new to the forum and I have a new-to-me 2007 185 Sport.
The boat's previous owner was an elderly gentleman who had too much money and decided he needed a boat. Well after putting only 25 hours on the motor, he decided to sell it.
Before I purchased it, the boat had a complete service...
