I had the same thing happen. I was able to trailer my boat to a local machine shop, specialty welder to fix. After welding new pipe, cleaning and buffing welds, it looked like new. Much cheaper than buying marine rail sections.

I bought 100 foot of chain this spring, and the fourth time I used it the anchor got stuck in 80 foot of water, and I lost both anchor and chain. The chain definitely worked great while it lasted!

We were anchored in the river channel at the Lake of the Ozarks watching the offshore boat races. Anchored in about 100 feet of water, almost the length of my anchor. Area was a no wake zone during the races.

If it is cycling you may have a small water leak in your system. Check fittings everywhere you can. Try isolating the pump and see if it still cycles.

There is no daytime speed limit, but 30 MPH at night. From mile marker 1 to 8, main channel pretty tame. From mile marker 8 to 28 on Memorial Day, hold on to your seat. Gets pretty rough. Do not let anyone sit on the gunnels, Water Patrol will stop you.
