My 7.4 MPI engines on my 97 370 burn about 30 gals per hr. When I cruise at 3400 RPM. right around 26 MPH. Which equates to .8 miles per gallon at cruising speed.

I have too agree with AMFM3. we bought our 97 370 Sundancer 4 yrs ago. it has the Hurth V Drives as well and I love them. The boat is fantastic! We too will keep ours for a long time. unless someone is going bigger I can't believe anyone would sell these awesome boats.

To the advice from Mark. i changed the wires on my engine and it fixed the problem. i could not get above 3000 rpm and Mark suggested wires. pretty cheap and pretty easy.

I just installed the Clarion M502 unit in my 370. i love the Bluetooth. i was able to match the color coded wires from the old unit to the new one. i had to run a new cable for the remote and enlarge the opening where the old one was. all in all not a bad install though

Changed the fuel filter this weekend. That made no difference. next weekend is plugs and wires since I didn't receive them in time this last week. i did notice more of a vibration than normal and still will not rev above 3000 RPM. so I am hoping plugs and wires will fix the issue. Thanks
