Just a thought for your consideration - we did away with the salon curtains and blinds altogether. We just have an exterior black mask around the entirety of the salon. It keeps the interior cool, provides plenty of ambient light, opens up the space and the black mask gives the exterior...

Good Evening! Has anyone ever added tile or stone flooring to the heads/showers? Granite or Corian-like material to the head sinks? Teak or stone to the shower seats? These are on our wishlist of upgrades... Thanks for the help! Happy Holidays!

When we refit the boat we just removed them altogether. Compound and waxing took most of the shadow off. (See our photo). Also went to a single boot stripe. Strictly personal preference, but we like the clean look. It seems on most new boats, stripes are out. Just a thought. Good luck!

Probably not high on anyone's "to-do" list but... Has anyone ever considered doing something to update the look of the aluminum trim surrounding the exterior base of the flybridge? As I look at photos of our boat that is one thing that seems to "date" it. Newer boats seem to favor the cleaner...

Just a thought - we took all the "stripes" off except the boot stripe. If you look around, you'll notice many of the modern boats don't come with any stripes at all. We had the stripes removed and boot stripe replaced by a local graphics guy when the boat was hauled. Where the stripes were...

We have a 1998 40' Sedan Bridge. Would like to get a rough idea of the cost of installing a tunnel mounted bow thruster for this size boat. Curious as to what the real cost experience has been for others on this size boat - you know: parts, labor, haul-out, tax, title, dealer prep, etc. etc...
