There is support tubing mounted, we used flush mount brackets. Jason at Soft Shell Custom Canvas in Florida came up and built this. We are very happy with it. I assume from what you said that I should find an Acc 1 wire to tie into under the dash. Thanks for the info.

Hoard, I did! The hinge was cracked and it was replaced under warranty. The new one is the same design???

By the way, make sure that you set battery charger to charge AGM's. Also letter from Mercury says to make sure battery switches are off upon return and engine shut off. Not always possible as we live aboard many nights and need 12V lights.

Just returned from Marathon. We rented a boat instead of taking ours, well worth the cost. Sombrero Key is good as well as Coffin's Patch. We also did a little snorkeling on the Gulf, not as good but the ride is worth it.

Make sure that you CO detector wires are connected. I had the same issue and found that a wire had come loose on the CO detector. Good luck

We moved from a 07 280 to a 08 310 and love it. The fuel location issue is a minor inconvience. There is however a design issue with the power supply. One 30 amp shore power to run all systems onboard. We are working right now to add a shore power cable to run part of the power. Other than that...
