That would work since it is a DTS control but your boat doesn't have it - you might be able to retrofit it but in my opinion it would not be worth the cost or aggravation

Sea Ray doesn't offer the DTS Controls option on the 190 SPX or 210 SPX, only the 230 SPX if you order the 4.5L 250 HP with the Bravo 3 drive

I think you have to have DTS controls in order for Smart Tow to even be an option and your SPX has mechanical controls
