Just picked up a 2004 340 Sundancer and have a couple of questions I'm hoping someone can answer. Do the Gauge lights turn on when you turn the IGN breakers on? I do not see anyway to turn them off. On my 01 340 the gauge lights came on only when I turned the Nav lights on.

Just started looking to upgrade my 340 to a 420/440. What are the major differences between the 420 and 440 and are Diesel engines a must have? I am on Lake St Clair/ Lake Erie most of the time

How do you access it to clean it? Also if the vent was clogged would it cause fuel starvation while trying to get on plane?

I have a 01 340 Sundancer with 7.4 horizons. The port motor struggles to get over 3k rpm when trying to get on plane then the Rpms will jump up, I'm thinking its a fuel problem because the port engine is burning gas 2x as fast as starboard. Where is the fuel filter located and where is the fuel...

I have seen a few 5212 in our model 340 but the 7212 is a 1/4 bigger in each direction. Please posts pics if he can get it to fit

I believe the helm is different on the 2003 do you have any pics of it installed?

Does anyone know of some kind of insert I could put in my windshield canvas track that I could screw the snaps into. I am ordering new canvas and would prefer regular snaps on the windshield but I do not want to have to drill into my windshield.

So the lip of the seat support slides in the transom support the the legs support the weight? Thanks for the pics guys. Any suggestions on what to make it out of? Marine Plywood? I am not a fiberglass craftsman
