Our 1998 330 DA has a 20x20 deck hatch fore that lets in far too much sun, heating up the cabin. The screen is also torn on it. Minimally, I need to replace the screen. Anyone have a source for the 20x20 screen with the notches in the middle of each side (for the latches)? Ideally, though...

Yes, fluids are all fine. My mechanic came and of course it didn't repro while he was here. He said its likely the shaft savers (exactly as Dale suggested above!), that they can vibrate and make a kinda wineglass sound, which sounds like what we heard. He said he can adjust it if it happens...

I did not try reverse at the time. There's a delay between when I engage the tranny and when the whistle/whine starts, so as long as I'm just pulsing the transmissions (like while docking), I don't get the issue, only when I'm running with it in gear for a while.

This is not a little, it's very, very loud, like far louder than the engines. Folks on nearby docks were looking up in alarm. And this has never happened before.

I have tried the re-calibration procedure, and it made absolutely no difference. By "wrong, and by varying amounts" I mean that even on the same heading the reading will change over time. iNavX, mostly, but MacENC also. And also an in-house app.

Thanks for the info, Henry! I'm curious, do you know where your heading sensor is? I need to replace mine (boat orientation and autopilot bearing always show wrong, and by varying amounts, so it's not calibration), but cannot, for the life of me, find it...

The electronics consist of a Raymarine C80 (chartplotter/MFD), ST6000+ autopilot, ST120 GPS, a Raydata digital combined knotmeter/depth/sea-temp/log, and Raytheon radar dome on arch.

How can I tell which standard (NMEA 0183, 2000 or SeaTalk, or even SeaTalk NG) is used on our 1998 330 Sundancer? AFAICT, all equipment was the Raymarine option package, but I'm not sure which network hardware and protocol it uses... While we're at it (*grin*), I'm keen to install a WiFi...
