I know on the 2008 240 sundeck you just remove the screws on the front. I can't imagine it being ant different on a 2009 230 sundeck

I changed my docking lights this season with the stock bulbs. Before you change them I would recommend ordering the retaining springs so you have them if needed. (3 on each side) I think they were around $2 each

I have a 2008 240 and the LOA is 26'. I believe they started counting the swim platform in 2009. Before I purchased my boat I did a sea trial on both the 305 and 350 and I feel that the 305 is under powered for that boat.

I rebuilt the carb at the beginning of the 2014 and 2015 seasons then I sold it at the end of last year and got a 240 sundeck. You are doing the same thing as me with the fuel treatment but unfortunately all the gas near me have ethanol.

I also have the garmin 54dv on my 2008 sundeck. It is probably in the same spot as bark615's. To the left of the compass. I have a pic where you can zoom in to see it but the file size is to big. If you want I can email it to you. I can also try to get a better pic over the weekend.
