adding a Perko switch and extra battery to run accessories/radio off of. For those of you with second battery on the smaller BR's - do you have them together or one on each side? Thinking about the extra weight on port side if both together and would contribute to listing to port. If seperate...
This happened to my mother - it switched automatically. We were able to switch back to the hotmail view - if I recall, we clicked on the settings/options (upper right side if I recall) and there was an option to switch back to hotmail. that worked for her (about 2 months ago)
I just put one on my 182 (single axle). About same as NorCal but on other side. I picked up a spare on CL and bought the offset mount on Amazon:

May have answered my own question (sorry - should have searched first!)
Has anybody mounted using the regular offset mount (not the extra offset as recommended in...
Hey all -
I picked up a used spare tire for the 182BR. What I need now is a tire mount to the trailer. Any thoughts on best mount and mount location? I have the swing away hitch. I've looked at cabelas and bass pro - and they have several mounts, however, not sure if any of them give the...
I used these photos as an additional reference (though not the SX version). http://myboat.wikispaces.com/Smart+Tabs+Install
I'm not completely following you on the only on hole 5 - once you get the new end piece to replace the U style end, you can mount at hole 3 position so you have some...
which hole you use should not affect bracket alignment. Put in hole 3, let the tab fall to its hanging position which should be near the correct angle, then let the upper bracket fall against the boat. That is where you place the upper bracket. They just dont want you aligning the upper...
It's not exactly a mount plate as you use the same upper and lower brackets that screw into boat. If you look at the shock, the bottom "U" shaped piece that fits over the adjustment holes can unscrew. They will send you a replacement that only has one side instead of straddling both sides of...
You will have to have Nauticus mail you a single sided fitting to change how the shock mounts to the tab. The stock lower fitting mounts on either side of the tab holes. This will bind if you use the one that came with the kit. Nauticus will mail you a new one that screws into the lower shock...
I have the 182 with the 4.3 (2002 vintage). I'm 235 lbs and I can ski behind mine so nuff said on whether it can or cant pull a skier! I did change out to a 4 blade prop (21p) and have the Nauticus tabs on them (more to stop porposing).
I've done both on my 182 BR 4.3L. I have the 60SX tabs as well as changed prop from 23p 3 blade to an alum 21p 4 blade. I think the combo of the two works great. I got the tabs for porpoising and the prop for pulling / hole shot. Speed dropped a bit with the setup, but will still go way to...
agreed - bilge pump never comes on - the only water in the boat is the water that we bring in from swimming, tubes, boards, etc. - and I make sure most is drained on the swim deck.
I too put the 3 ft (or so) guides on my 182BR, as we get some wind here in Missouri as well. Make a whirl of a difference and get it on the bunks perfect every time!
Hi all -
purchased a used 2002 182 BR 4.3 l carb (190 hp) this year. Mint condition, 80 hrs - now has 86 hrs :)
runs perfect - but some trouble pulling the teenagers out on skis. Has stock prop 14x23 alum. Great top end speed (too much if you ask family!)
Was out yesterday with 5 in...
