    Boat Storage-Thousand Islands Area

Not quite what I am looking for. I want to find a place, not necessarily on the water, where the boat and trailer can be stored indoors. It would also be great if they could provide launch/haul-out service and winterization.

    Boat Storage-Thousand Islands Area

We are thinking about storing our boat in the upstate NY area during the off season. I want to find a place where it can be stored inside, on the trailer. We usually boat in the Kingston, Thousand Islands, Rideau Canal area. I want to be able to use the boat for about 4-6 weeks every summer...

    New owner of a '92 Sundancer 270...

Steve: Hope you enjoy your "new" 270. It may not go quite as fast as your jet boat. Good for a whole lot of cruisin' though.

    Aguapalooza 2008 Site.

Chuck: Thought I saw Wellesley Island. Must have been a prior year, like 2001 or something. I'm always a little behind the times. Maybe I got it from a different website like theboaters.com. Are there several aquapoloozas around the country?

North Georgia boys are not allowed on the St Lawrence Seaway. Besides, nobody can afford the gas to get there.

    Update: 1998 250 Sundancer

Good Luck on getting your deposit back. It sounds like your seller is in the do-do and has probably spent your deposit. I would not be surprised to hear that the boat gets re-poed.

    Update: 1998 250 Sundancer

Why don't you go back to the seller and let him know what your concerns are about the boat. ie: negotiate a deal.

    Fender racks

Yeah, they create nice blind spots. I usually stow my starboard fenders when running around the lake, but, need them handy when cruising.

    Trailering a 290 1200 Miles

Quint: Advantage of Bimini is greater air flow and visibility. I think that it looks better too. I agree that the weight with fuel, gear, etc. is around 10,000 lbs Oh, I also replaced the raggity old radio with a Sirius ready radio and CD player. I pulled the old radio, made a new backer...

    Trailering a 290 1200 Miles

Quint: I think that your '92 is basically the same boat as my '90 270DA. I picked it because of the cabin layout. What I did change was the canvas configuration. ie: from a convertible to a Bimini top. Not difficult to do, but, made a world of difference. Here is a link to a better picture of...

    Trailering a 290 1200 Miles

I have a 2000 F250 V-10 that I use to pull my 270 to Canada and back. The trip is 2400 miles R/T. The 270 that I have is really a 290 in sheeps clothing (ie:LOA of 30'6"). Truck doesn't break a sweat pulling the load. I think it is rated to pulled 18 or 19,000 pounds, have to look at manual to...

    Trailering a 290 1200 Miles

You need to go each states website and get information on oversize loads. Every state is different with their permitting process and fees. Tennessee is probably the easiest and cheapest for a recreational boater. Oh, almost forgot, you can have an agent get the permits for you. I cqan't find my...
